Owen Farrell became the first Rugby World Cup player to let the shot clock run down costing his side a potential three points against Samoa.
The England captain looked shocked after the referee blew the whistle, not realising that he had gone over the shot clock as he prepared for a crucial kick.

The rule was introduced at the start of this year to stop players from wasting time in games.
Thankfully, England went on to beat Samoa 18-17, saving Farrell from any more blushes.
