The Saracens number ten Owen Farrell was talking to the referee as England second row Mark Itoje was shown the line for dangerous tackle last night in the top of the table clash between Bath and Sarries at the Rec. Farrell has the right answer for Niall Annett .. See the conversation below and the comments underneath ..

How is that not a red card. Tell me you’re an England international without telling me you’re an England International
FFS he’s the captain that’s part of his role to put doubt in the refs mind. No one does it better, best captain and come to that player Sarries and England have ever had. Good luck in France Owen, you will be missed.
Farrell should be quiet , this could / should have been a red – the mitigation he expressed didn’t exist
All the Farrell haters complaining about his behaviour: he is the captain. It’s his job to make his player’s case and put those thoughts in the ref’s head. If he had a home counties accent you wouldn’t be getting so upset about it.
