Jake Paul is lining up Hasim Rahman Jr as his next opponent, which is no surprise, with him having been stopped last time out.
Paul was supposed to be fighting Tommy Fury on his August 6th card, just as he was supposed to be back in December. Both times the Briton pulled out.
The American social media sensation took to social media today to confirm that he will be replacing Fury on the card, with the announcement expected tomorrow.
Fury’s received a termination notice. MVP did everything it could 2 help him & team. He wasn’t interested & he literally went into hiding.
2nd time in a row he has pulled out.
2nd time in a row I’m going to step up & take on a new opponent on short notice. AUG 6. MSG.

BenchWarmers exclusively revealed our understanding that the replacement will be Hasim Rahman Jr, the son of former heavyweight champion of the world Hasim Rahman.
On paper, Rahman Jr ought to pose more of a threat than Fury did. For starters, he’s a much bigger fighter and has fought boxers with a winning record.
Ordinarily, you wouldn’t expect Paul to accept the fight on that basis, but it’s worth noting that Rahman Jr was actually TKO’ed last time he took to the ring.
You can watch the video below, with Rahman Jr being hit with some hefty shots. It’s no wonder that Paul thinks he might have a fighting chance in this bout…
