Hasim Rahman Jr has rubbished the idea that he could take a dive in his upcoming fight against Jake Paul.
With Paul not having followed the conventional route into professional boxing, there is plenty of suspicion surrounding him, certainly from the hardcore boxing community.
He has never quite been accepted or given due respect by those in the sport but has the opportunity to strengthen his credentials against Hasim Rahman Jr next month.
With it being a Jake Paul fight, there have again been (unfounded) allegations that the fight will have an element of scripting. Rahman Jr has denied such claims.

Rahman Jr is indeed fighting for his father’s legacy and will be well aware of how much damage would be done to his family name if he were beaten by a YouTuber.
We are absolutely inclined to believe him when he says that he will not be taking any kind of dive and is very much in this contest to beat Paul to a pulp.
Whether he will be successful in achieving that is another matter, but we can at least be certain that Rahman Jr will not be doing his opponent any favours.
