The Ireland women’s team had a massive win last night against Scotland to send them though to the World Cup finals. After the game there has been a video that has come out of the ladies singing ‘Ooh ah up the ‘Ra’ that has caused massive controversy online and the manager, players and FAI have since apologised for it. See it below;

This just can’t be done anymore and obviously causes offence to a lot of people, but it shouldn’t take away the great achievement that those women have achieved. After a game and big win like that, there can be a lot going on and something times the wrong thing or the wrong song can be sung and when there’s cameras you could be in trouble.
