Morocco fans didn’t hold back when celebrating their team’s knockout victory against Spain yesterday.
After both sides failed to score in regular time and extra time, the round of 16 was sent to penalties. Despite having much more experience than Morocco on the World stage, Spain wilted under the pressure and missed every single one of their penalties.
Morocco, however, seemed to not be fazed by the millions of eyes watching on and scored three out of four. With Achraf Hakimi even scoring a cheeky panenka to seal victory for his side.
