Julian Alvarez scored his second and Argentina’s third after an incredible Lionel Messi assist.
Messi at the age of 35 has produced one of the best dribbles of his career, putting it on a plate for teammate Alvarez.
Picking up the ball on the right-hand side, Messi drove at the defence, weaving and winding all the way to box. With a drop of the shoulder he skips past Joško Gvardiol and pulls it back for a grateful Alvarez.
“That was just genius…!”

It is impossible not to think about Messi’s goal against Atletico Bilbao in 2015 when you look at that dribble.
Barring a meltdown from the Argentine players, this match is all but over.
