Man United star’s year is OVER after suffering painful injury while taking shot in training

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly set to spend 8-10 weeks on the sidelines after suffering a muscle injury in France training.

A video went viral on social media on Monday of Pogba striking towards goal while training with Les Bleus and pulling up. He appeared to be in some degree of pain.

Pogba was helped off the training pitch before being escorted into a car, where he was presumably taken straight to the medical room for assessment.

Unfortunately for France, Man United and, of course, Pogba himself, the midfielder is now set to spend a considerable period of time watching from the sidelines.

According to RMC Sport, Pogba will be out of action for between 8-10 weeks after suffering considerable damage to his thigh while taking the shot in training.

That could mean that the midfielder’s 2021 is over. Man United fans may not see him in action again until January, where he’ll be free to negotiate pre-contract agreements with any potential future employers.

Man United supporters really can’t catch a break at the moment…
