Midfielder Paul Pogba has been removed from Juventus’ squad for the Europa League due to disciplinary issues.

There was a lot of hype surrounding Pogba and his return to Juventus this summer and he made his first appearance back at the club on March 28th against Torino.

The club will have been hoping to get the Frenchman back in European action, but he has been removed from the squad due to arriving late to a squad meeting on the eve of their clash with SC Freiburg.

Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri hinted yesterday that Pogba would be available for the game, saying: “Tuesday he did a good workout, today he was separate from the group. Tomorrow morning we’ll understand if he can be available.”

Juve will be taking the Europa League very seriously, with their top four hopes in Serie A looking quite unlikely but they’ll have to march on without Pogba, who won’t have been expecting to be watching his side from home this evening.
