Nike have released a statement regarding the allegations facing Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood has been condemned across the footballing community on Sunday after allegations came to light of the England international abusing his girlfriend.
Said allegations were corroborated by photo, video and audio recordings, which stop short of proving Greenwood’s guilt, but heavily imply some degree of wrongdoing.
The evidence released by his girlfriend have been enough for Manchester United, Greater Manchester Police and now his sponsor Nike to release statements on the developing situation.
Nike are Greenwood’s marquee sponsor and by far the most renowned to have affiliation with the alleged domestic abuser. Here’s what they have had to say on the matter.

They, like everyone, are going to keep tabs on developments and proceed accordingly. Their decision could be intertwined with the police determining if there are grounds for charges.
