The French forward claimed that Mason Greenwood cost his side the game during Getafe’s impressive 3-3 draw with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

Despite Antoine Griezmann bagging two goals for his side during the La Liga clash with Getafe, Deigo Simmeone’s side couldn’t hold out.

Oscar Rodriguez grabbed an 87th-minute equaliser for the visitors with the game finished as a stalemate at 3-3.

Speaking after the game, Griezmann highlighted the performance of Greenwood.

“Mason Greenwood was really causing us problems in the second half,” Griezmann said.

“We couldn’t stop him and it cost us the game.”
