Mason Greenwood still being paid extraordinary amount by Manchester United every week

Manchester United are still paying Mason Greenwood is full £75k-a-week salary, according to the Daily Mail.

Greenwood is currently out on bail and faces allegations of rape, assault, sexual assault and threats to kill.

The allegations were made by a female whose relationship status with the England international is currently known.

She has a lifelong right to anonymity, such is the nature of what she has alleged against the Man United star.

Greenwood, despite being innocent until proven guilty by a court of law, has been royally cancelled but the football world.

It, at this point, seems unlikely that we will ever be seeing the player in the Premier League again.

Still, it’s not all bad news for him. According to the Daily Mail, Greenwood is still picking up his £75k-a-week salary in full.

Man United have ‘suspended’ him, but they have stopped short of hitting the pause button on his contract.

UK employment law COULD be stopping them from doing so, but in similar situations in the past, organisations have acted differently.

What do you think? Is it fair that Greenwood still fills his pockets?
