Unfortunately for the Argentine, he has suffered yet another setback. News broke on Sunday morning that Messi had become the latest high-profile footballer to test positive for COVID-19.

Messi is not understood to be suffering from anything like severe symptoms of the virus, and of course, we will be crossing our fingers that he doesn’t develop any.
He will now be forced into self-isolation until he is allowed to return to training, following the guidelines set out by the French government.
Messi and PSG fans alike will be hoping to see him back in action as soon as possible – and performing better than he did in the first half of his debut season in Paris.
