LA Lakers’ LeBron James out for some time after screaming in pain having rolled his ankle

LA Lakers star LeBron James could be out for up to two months after suffering a potentially serious ankle sprain during Saturday’s game with Atlanta Hawks.

LeBron is beyond what would usually be considered a player’s prime years, but remains one of the best in the NBA, with the Lakers being considerably worse off when he’s not fit and available.

Unfortunately for head coach Frank Vogel, he could be forced to adapt to LeBron’s absence for a pretty significant period of time, with The Athletic reporting that a sprain to his ankle could rule him out for as long as eight weeks.

With the four-time NBA champion having hit the deck screaming in pain, naturally, there were concerns over the severity of the injury, and while there’s no break to any bones, it’s enough to keep LeBron sidelined for some time.

The Lakers sit third in the Western Conference at current, but all due respect, are nowhere near as good of a side without LeBron in it. Everyone affiliated with the club will be praying for a speedy recovery, no doubt.s
