Monaghan drew with Donegal on scoreline of 1-20 to 4-11 on Saturday evening and Conor McCarthy scored a first half hat-trick a brilliant three goals. In fairness Monaghan did let the win slip away when they were looking so good in the first half of the division one north tie.

Where will Monaghan and Donegal end up this year in the Championship. Donegal must still be hurting from that surprise Ulster football final against Down last year.
