‘Full agreement reached’ for Frank Lampard to return to management, one year after Chelsea sacking

Frank Lampard is reportedly on the verge of being appointed the new Everton manager.

Lampard has been out of work ever since being dismissed by Chelsea almost a year to the day.

The former Blues midfielder has waited patiently for the right opportunity to come along, rather than jumping into a role that may serve no benefit to his ambitions to build a career in management.

Lampard appears to have now found the one that he’s been waiting for, with reports suggesting that he is set to sign along the dotted line and become the new manager of Everton.

Everton have endured a difficult campaign, in no small part due to the toxic relationship between the fanbase and recently dismissed manager Rafa Benitez.

However, there’s no denying that Lampard will have a talented squad at this disposal, one which ought to be performing at a much higher level than it is currently.

Presuming there will be a budget for him to strengthen his side over the summer, this could prove to be a masterstroke of job selection from Super Frank.
