Paul Pogba to sign Manchester United contract extension – on one condition

Paul Pogba is prepared to snub interest from abroad in favour of staying at Manchester United – on one condition.

Pogba has been continually linked with the Old Trafford exit door since the day he signed along the dotted line with the Red Devils. His agent, the polarising Mino Raiola, has had a hand in that.

With the Frenchman’s contract due to expire at the end of June of this year, there was a strong possibility that Pogba would opt to leave Man United, rather than attempt to negotiate an extension.

However, according to information provided by The Sun, Pogba is now open to the idea of committing his long-term future to Man United – should Ralf Rangnick be appointed manager on a permanent basis.

The report claims that Pogba has been incredibly impressed with Rangnick’s work at the club so far, so much so that he is willing to stick around just to work under the German.

Whether Man United will be willing to repeat what they did with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and hand an interim manager a permanent job remains to be seen –  but Pogba’s future may well hinge on it.
