It’s game on in the Nations League semi-final, with Karim Benzema finding the back of the net to half the deficit.
Both sides headed into tonight’s game knowing the victor would be meeting Spain in the Nations League final.
At half-time, Belgium had one foot through into the next round, with goals from Yannick Carrasco and Romelu Lukaku giving them a two-goal cushion heading into the break.
Roberto Martinez will have expected France to come out for the second-half swinging, which they did, with Les Bleus now finally making a breakthrough.

After some positive work in possession from Kylian Mbappe, the ball found its way to the feet of the in-form Karim Benzema, who found the bottom corner of Thibaut Courtois’ net.
Even his 6’7 teammate, at full stretch, could do nothing to prevent Benzema’s finish nestling in the bottom corner. We have an electric 25 minutes in store for us here…
