Jesse Lingard has found his form once again and is now shining at West Ham under David Moyes but the English attacking midfielder is lucky VAR was there to over rule the linesman and allow his goal.
There seemed to be confusion as the linesman first put his flag up when Lingard put the ball in the back of the net but after consulting VAR referee Craig Pawson awarded the goal.
It is possible the linesman thought Fornals had scored the goal from an offside position but it was Jesse who struck the ball sweetly and into the right hand side of the goal.
"This is the Lingard of old for Man Utd and England" 💪
Jesse Lingard's goal was ruled out for offside, but VAR overturned the decision. ❌✔️
