Former West Ham United player Pablo Fornals was sent off for punching an opponent in a pre-season game between Real Betis and Como.
Cesc Fabregas’s side ran out 3-2 winners against the LaLiga outfit, but the game descended into chaos on the stroke of half-time.
Como were comfortably leading 2-0, and then tempers flared when Betis goalkeeper Alvaro Valles left his penalty area to try and get the ball off one of the Italian side’s players to take a free kick.
But nobody expected the chaos that would ensue after this, as a mass brawl soon erupted between both sets of players.
Footage revealed that Como and Betis stars furiously pushing and shoving, with the two teams’ benches even getting involved.
Things soon got out of hand as ex-West Ham star Fornals and Como midfielder Massimo Perrone were involved in unsavoury scenes.
Fornals appeared to land the first punch, striking the Argentine in the face, who then swung back at him violently.
The two players had to be pulled apart by their respective teammates.
