Tyson Fury has taken to Twitter to announce the date that he will be taking to the ring to fight heavyweight rival Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia.
Since what feels like the dawn of time, we have been waiting for official confirmation that Fury and Joshua would be stepping in to a ring together.
It would not only be one of the biggest British boxing bouts of all-time, but the victor would also be crowned unified heavyweight champion.

There has long been suggestion that the fight would take place this summer, and if Fury is to be believed, it looks as though that will be the case.
Fury took to Twitter on Sunday to announce that he would be fighting compatriot Joshua in Saudi Arabia on August 14th.

Let’s hope that he hasn’t jumped the gun here, and all the necessary documents have been signed to make this fight happen on that date.
Once it’s in the calendar, then we can start to get excited.
