Like father, like son. Tyson Fury has proudly revealed that his eldest son John James has joined the “family business”.

The Gypsy King is undoubtedly one of the finest heavyweight boxers in modern era, and it appears his son has followed his father’s footsteps.

Boxing runs in the veins of the Fury family. Tyson’s father, John and uncle Peter were both former fighters.

James has been training for two years now. His brothers, Tommy and Roman, are also boxers, while his cousin, James Dean, will also become a professional after a successful amateur career.

Fury posted a video on his Instagram where he was seen carrying a green suitcase. He wrote the caption: “Today Gypsyprince becomes a part of the family business.”

Fury was heard saying: “Today’s the day you become part of the family business, son.”

John James replied: “What kind of business is that?”

The famous fighter replied: “The f***ing fight game.”

The Gypsy King he revealed previously that he wants to get back to where he once was after a three-year absence from the ring.

However, it seems he is more focused on his son’s boxing career and development than his own bout.

Since 2013, Fury has announced his retirement several times, but he has soon returned to the ring.

His latest retirement came in January 2024 after he was defeated twice on points by Oleksandr Usyk. Fury has won 22 belts in his career, and it looks like he has no plans to return to the boxing ring anytime soon.
