Ireland bid farewell to it’s greatest ever goalscorer and captain this week as Robbie Keane called it a day on his international career after 18 years in the green jersey.
Keane was on the scoresheet for one last time as Ireland ran out comfortable 4-0 winners against Oman at the Aviva on Wednesday night but that wasn’t going to be the end of the celebrations.
Keane hit the pub and rattled off a few Irish classics but non better than the fan favourite ‘The Fields of Athenry’ with Cork singer/songwriter Roy Buckley and George Murphy.
