The Paris side maintained their lead at the top of Ligue 1 with a comprehensive 2-1 win against Toulouse on Saturday evening.
The two sides were level going into the second half but in the 58th minute, Messi scored what would be the winning goal with an exquisite and hardly surprising left-footed strike into the bottom corner.
