Sebastian Haller has just scored his first competitive goal for Borussia Dortmund only eight months after he was diagnosed with a testicular tumour.

The Ivorian striker moved to the Bundesliga club last summer but never got the chance to make his full competitive debut. Just weeks after his arrival in Dortmund, doctors told him that he had a malignant tumour and that he had to undergo treatment immediately.

This was a shock to not just him but the footballing world, who all gathered together to pray for his recovery.

After a long battle, Haller returned to the pitch in January featuring in some friendly games for his side and then made his competitive debut at the end of the month.

But now he was well and truly marked his arrival by scoring his first competitive goal in the 51st minute against SC Freiburg.

What a moment!
