Jurgen Klopp’s side were on the losing end tonight of the clash between Liverpool and Southampton with Danny Ings, the former Liverpool player being the difference. Ings made a run into the box and an error from Trent Alexander-Arnold left the English striker one on one with Alisson and a clean chip in the 2nd minute left Jurgen’s men a goal down from very early on. They were chasing Southampton for the rest of the game with a number of referee’s decisions going against them. Southampton escaped a penalty after one of their players handled the ball then Sadio Mane was not awarded a penalty for what appeared to be a clear foul.
Jurgen has been feeling the heat with his side only getting 2 points from their last 3 games with draws against 19th place West Brom and 15th place Newcastle, the fans expect better from their team at the top of the League.
