Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has slammed Newcastle United for serving up “dire tripe” football for a decade.
Former Manchester United player and current Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has given his harsh view of Newcastle United’s style of play in the Premier League.
Speaking on Sky Sports ‘Monday Night Football’ show Neville said “Newcastle fans have been served up dire tripe for about ten years.”
Neville’s comments come off the back of Newcastle’s defeat to Sheffield United last week which was the bottom strugglers first victory of the season.

The Sky pundit believes the problem at Newcastle has nothing to do with the managers but more so the people higher up who he said “the ownership and executives at that football club have not delivered the football to those fans for years and years.”
Newcastle take on Arsenal on Monday night at the Emirates where victory for the home side will see them climb back into the top half of the table.
