(Video) Floyd Mayweather would “absolutely” fight UFC icon Conor McGregor in boxing rematch

Floyd Mayweather has revealed that he would “absolutely” be up for a rematch with UFC legend Conor McGregor, report Sky Sports.

Mayweather, who is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters to have ever lived, boasts an extraordinary 50-0 record, with his milestone victory being a TKO win over McGregor.

The pair have exchanged words frequently in the three-and-a-half-year aftermath of the fight, but there has never been any concrete suggestion that there was appetite for a rematch.

Until now, that is.

Speaking ahead of his exhibition bout with YouTuber Logan Paul at the weekend, Mayweather revealed that he would love to step back through the ropes and take on McGregor for a second time.

It remains to be seen if there would be interest from McGregor, who is due to take on Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight in Las Vegas next month – but if the cheque’s big enough, you imagine he’d agree.
