However, he has been in the news recently with a cloud of controversy surrounding the UFC star.
The multimillionaire fighter was caught appearing to kiss a mystery woman on a beach in Florida.
A few days later, he was also spotted with the same woman enjoying a meal in Fort Lauderdale.
To add fuel to the fire, American rapper Azealia Banks accused McGregor of sending her unsolicited nude photos.
The alleged naked pictures were then posted online – and later deleted – by the New York performer.
A Brazilian member of a football team I managed some years ago had the nick name McGregor because he looked like Conor.
