🚨 Tyson Fury told his trilogy of fights with Deontay Wilder are to blame for poor performance against Francis Ngannou

Tyson Fury put in a subpar performance against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia last weekend.

‘The Gypsy King’ was nowhere near his best as he turned in one of his most lacklustre performances in recent times. But ultimately he got the win over Francis Ngannou via a razor-thin split-decision from the judges.

Malik Scott, who is the trainer of Fury’s old foe Deontay Wilder believes fighting the hard-hitting American three times has taken its toll on Fury.

Scott speaking to FightHype said:

“Even Fury believes the Deontay Wilder fights changed him.”

“You don’t have three fights with Wilder and it doesn’t change you. Every fight he’s had with Deontay, these weren’t one or two-round fights. He’s gone over 24 rounds with the hardest puncher in the history of the sport. People are highlighting the times he got knocked down, but what about the punches he was taking in the fight, taking good shots and coming back. Those shots are damaging too.”
