We head back to 1985 and a 17-year old Gascoigne has just helped his boyhood club Newcastle United win the FA Youth Cup.
The midfielder and his team mates were busy celebrating in the dressing room before they were visited by Watford chairman Elton John who came to congratulate his club’s opponents.
The singer will have been shocked to see an undressed Gascoigne jump out of the bath shouting “Elton, give us a song!“. Whether Elton belted out a tune at Gascoigne’s request, we highly doubt it.
Thirteen years later when Gazza was at Rangers, he went on a golf trip with his team mates and decided to put a swan in the back seat of his Range Rover.
