The South African coach Rassie Erasmus bites back at Newstalk’s Off The Ball after Ger Gilroy makes a mockery of the former Munster coach. Not sure about this lads.. The South African’s aren’t happy and especially their main man Rassie Erasmus, see some of the tweets below;

The pressure is building for the weekend with Ireland hopping to get the job done against the Scots at Stade de France in Paris. It will be a win that will see Ireland advance to the Quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup.

If Ireland fail to even pick up a bonus point against the Scots Ireland will be out and both the South Africans and Scots will be through. Surely that won’t happen..

  1. As a regular OTB Listiner I find this a bit cringy and believe the general public in Ireland would prefer to distance themselves from the petulant behaviour of Ger Gilroy and Co.
    I think the wider rugby public would hold Rassie , Jaque and the SA setup in high esteem .

  2. Ah lads, if you’re gonna print this stuff at least get your facts right. Just a win will do it..

    1. A loss without a bonus point will see Ireland on 14 points and SA on 15..a loss with a bonus point will see both sides on 15. But Ireland won the head to head match and will then go through

      1. Not so straight forward. If Ireland, Scotland and SA all finish on 15 points (remember SA have beaten Scotland in their head to head) so it will be the two teams with the best overall points difference that go through.
