The Premier League have released and detailed all of the new measures they will be taking in the fight to stop the spread of Covid-19.
In the new measures that will be enforced from today on, player and staff ‘must wear masks at all time’. This means we will no longer see players hugging and shaking hands without masks before the game.
The new stricter measures have been brought in after numerous Premier League games were postponed due to Covid-19 outbreaks at clubs like Fulham and Manchester City.
Social distancing will now be enforced on the pitch when it comes to ‘goal celebrations’ and interacting with ‘match officials’. A much wanted guideline by referees that will be well received as representatives for officials asked for the 2 metre guideline to be enforced on the pitch.

The only time masks won’t be worn is during warm-up, while playing, walking to and from the pitch, during interviews and for Coaching staff on the bench#PL pic.twitter.com/4N14QoW9LC

What do you think about these new guidelines, will they make a difference? Will they even be enforced correctly?
