Police, Man United and Nike release statements on horrifying Mason Greenwood allegations

Greater Manchester Police, Manchester United and Nike have all released statements on the allegations facing Mason Greenwood today.

Football fans awoke in horror to see that Greenwood’s remarkably brave girlfriend, Harriet Robson, had taken to social media to share ‘evidence’ of abuse suffered by the hands of the Man United star.

Said evidence included photos, videos and audio recordings, all of which point towards wrongdoing on Greenwood’s part. Still, it’s our duty to leave the guilt-determining to the police, who have released a statement on the matter.

Manchester United have also had their say on the matter. You imagine that they will proceed accordingly after receiving updates from Greater Manchester Police on the outcome of their investigation.

“We are aware of images and allegations circulating on social media. We will not make any further comment until the facts have been established. Manchester United does not condone violence of any kind.”

Greenwood’s marquee sponsor, Nike, have also revealed that they are deeply concerned by the allegations made against their athlete. They have, at this point in time, stopped short of cutting ties with him.
