The Irish Times and Gerry Thornley are reporting/suggesting that this could be Peter O’Mahony’s last time wearing the green of Ireland.
“what is likely to be his last Captain’s Run press conference”
The Munster and Ireland flanker has played over 100 times for his country and has been a great player/servant for the men in green.

Peter O’Mahony could be about to play his last game for Ireland this evening.
If that is the case, captaining his country to the Six Nations title would be some way to bow out. https://t.co/4o0kKWa4Hh

Seeing all the speculation on it being Peter O’Mahony’s last game.
Hopefully not.
I'm not ready for that.
I have been given no time to emotionally prepare for that.

I think you’ll find most of those saying it’s his last game never really wanted him playing any game for Ireland. There are POM haters for as long as he’s been playing professional rugby
Is there anything that this speculation is based on or is it just just wishful thinking from the people who have wanted him out of the team for years?
I sort of hope it is. He has always been one of the most underrated players in an Irish shirt and doesnt deserve the hate he gets. At least if he goes out tonight it will be on a high and on his own terms.
