Peter O’Mahony & Billy Burns Make Two ‘Big’ Mistakes that Cost Ireland Dearly

Ireland opened their Six Nations on a disastrous note losing 21-16 against Wales at Cardiff, Ireland went down to 14 men early in the game with a straight red card from Peter O’Mahony running recklessly into a ruck early in the game and dangerously nearly taking the head off Welsh player.

Wayne Barnes the man in the middle was left with no option but to show O’Mahony a straight red card, leaving it an uphill battle for Ireland and to compound it Billy Burns went to kick for touch in the last play of the game to give Ireland a fighting chance but unfortunately the Ulster fly-half kicked it out on the full.

Ireland will face France next week at home in the Aviva stadium and with how good France were all be it Italy at the weekend it’s worrying times for this Irish team and Andy Farrell’s men. Where do you see Ireland finishing now?
