Manchester United star has his heart set on joining Lionel Messi at PSG

Paul Pogba will reportedly run down his Manchester United contract before joining Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain.

Pogba has less than 12 months to run on his deal with the Red Devils, which has left a major question mark over his future at Old Trafford.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the Frenchman is believed to have held talks with PSG over a possible transfer this summer.

However, the arrival of Lionel Messi at the Parc des Princes has ended any possibility of the French giants landing Pogba before the transfer deadline later this month.

Still, PSG ought to be confident that they’ll get their man eventually, with the Daily Mail reporting that Pogba is extending to allow his Man United contract to expire next summer in order to make the move to Paris.

An attack potentially containing Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria, Paul Pogba and Gini Wijnaldum would be quite frankly ridiculous, as if their all-star XI isn’t already impressive enough.

PSG really appear to be becoming the masters of the free transfers, with Wijnaldum, Messi, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Sergio Ramos all having arrived this summer for a combined cost of £0.
