Raphael Varane was pictured at the Manchester United training ground as he finally underwent his medical.
Varane’s move to Old Trafford was confirmed at the end of last month, but a delay in the Frenchman’s travel to the UK, combined with his subsequent quarantine, had prevented him from taking a medical and joining up with the squad.
That is, until yesterday, with Sky Sports reporting that the World Cup winner underwent his medical at the Man United training ground and will presumably be training with the squad in due course.
Varane was also pictured heading into the Man United training ground for the first time. Although, it really could be anyone in the back of this car – we’ll have to take their word for it.

The 28-year-old is highly unlikely to feature for the Red Devils on the opening weekend, but you imagine it won’t be too long before he’ll be thrown into the action by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
