Conor McGregor has revealed the number of PPVs sold for UFC 257, which was headlined by his rematch with Dustin Poirier.
McGregor’s UFC career has taken a rather drastic nosedive, but there’s no denying that he is still the biggest name in the sport.
The Irishman brings a frenzy with him wherever he goes. He’s arguably the only UFC fighter to end up on the celebrity A-list.
As a result, he’s a HUGE PPV draw, it’s the reason Dana White has put up with all of his nonsense and controversies over the years.
McGregor has been keen to remind people of it, too, having taken to Twitter to leak a PPV document showing that the UFC 257 card, headlined by him and Dustin Poirier, sold over 1.5m PPVs.

A multitude of times, leading to a $4.2bn dollar acquisition of the company in 2016. Then I went a multitude more, perching the company up to an almost $11bn valuation, where it sits now in today’s market. Incredible! https://t.co/IBQHn4ihHW

You can’t imagine those pulling the strings at the UFC will be particularly pleased with McGregor sharing documents of this nature to his Twitter followers.
Still, you can’t blame McGregor, who has received his fair share of stick and is just trying to remind people he is still the superstar of the game.
