Manchester United training ground security presence trebles following anti-Glazer infiltration

Manchester United have tripled security around their AON Training Complex through fears of further fan infiltration, according to the Daily Mail.

As the report notes, angry Manchester United fans broke into the training ground last week to stage a protest against their ownership. The Red Devils faithful have historically not been fond of the Glazers, who are more inclined to take money out of the club than pump it in.

While you imagine there’s some within the Man United dressing room who agree with the cause that the fans are fighting for, especially in wake of the European Super League fiasco, it’s still not safe or appropriate for fans to be infiltrating the training ground and being in direct contact with players and staff.

Manchester United fans infiltrated the training ground to protest against the Glazers.

As a result, as per the Daily Mail, security has been ramped up around the training ground. The contractor, Controlled Solutions Group, has trebled its presence at the AON Training Complex in hope of preventing a repeat of the events of last week.

Manchester United fans will have to stick to protesting outside Old Trafford in hope of driving the Glazers out, and such is the degree of contempt felt towards them after their involvement with the ESL, you imagine that these protests are going to continue for some time.
