Gary Neville has stated that he agrees with Roy Keane’s assessment of Declan Rice, adding that the midfielder has a lot to improve on if he wants to be the complete package.
The English midfielder has by far and away been West Ham’s best player for the past few seasons but has struggled to be as impactful this term.
The Hammers are in the middle of an underwhelming season and it may just be Rice’s last at the club.

The 24-year-old has been linked with moves away to a host of different sides in England with Arsenal and Chelsea looking like the most interested parties.
But speaking on Sky Sports, Neville admitted that he agrees with his former teammate, Keane, that he must improve if he wants to be a ‘destroyer’.
‘I heard what Roy said and I do agree,’ he said.
‘I love Declan Rice, but I’ve said this a long time… when we do Monday Night Football we have a tactical camera. I feel Declan knows the position but when I look at world class holding midfielders – he doesn’t score or assist. You then have to be a destroyer and know the subtilties of getting on the ball from the back four.’
