Gary Neville ranks the most important Manchester United players 🤔

Gary Neville listed his four most important Manchester United players but left out one obvious addition.

The Red Devils have been flying in every competition since returning from the World Cup break in December and haven’t shown any signs of slowing down.

They capped their incredible performances with their first trophy in six years against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup last Sunday, winning 2-0.

Erik ten Hag has not just brought in star players but has rejuvenated the rest of the squad.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville ranked the squad’s most important players but failed to mention Bruno Fernandes.

“In order, I would go Casemiro, I would go Rashford, I’d go de Gea and Varane equal third at this moment in time,” he said on Sky Sports.

“I can’t believe I’m even saying – forget Casemiro because he wasn’t even here last year – that Varane, Rashford, de Gea have elevated themselves into a position whereby you feel they are in great form.

“We saw last night, de Gea had to make the saves, Rashford has to come on, Casemiro has to come on.

“Varane didn’t come on but I do feel like he is the most important centre-back right now, particularly in big matches and that’s why he gets rested.”

Do you agree with his picks?
