France defeated Ireland 15-13 at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday afternoon with a very impressive performance from the French team. But not there’s is big worry that the Six Nations might be under a bit of pressure as two members of the French backroom staff including head coach Fabien Galthié has tested positive for Covid-19
“Additional tests will be carried out with the entire France group on Wednesday at the National Training Centre,” said the FFR. “Tests will be carried out at home on Friday, as well as on Sunday evening at the National Rugby Center.”
France are currently first in the Six Nations table and if they have to cancel their next game against Scotland it would be a disaster for everyone involved. France now have momentum and would like to carry that on and Scotland I’m sure will want to bounce back and all the revenue that would be lost for the TV companies. But Health should always come first.
