Fans lose their minds as Mick McCarthy is announced as Cardiff manager

Posted by

Ex-Ireland manager Mick McCarthy was recently sacked from job in Cyprus managing APOEL Nicosia and has just been appointed Cardiff City boss.

Cardiff sacked manager Neil Harris after six consecutive losses in the Championship leaving the team in 15th place and heading towards League 1.

They’ve brought in veteran manager Mick McCarthy to steady the ship even though he was sacked in Cyprus after just two months in charge of Nicosia. Madness.

Cardiff have been in and around the top of the Championship for a long time with many expecting promotion this year but that is unlikely to happen with a manager as tactically old as Mick.

He has surely been brought it to steady the ship and grind out points to avoid relegation, fans realise this and are hating it.

Many are wondering how a manager of Mick’s reputation is still landing jobs, how is a man who was just fired after two months in charge of a club the right man for Cardiff?
