Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Manchester United to play in the MLS at the end of the season, according to Todo Fichajes.

Ronaldo’s romantic return to Old Trafford is fast turning into a disaster, with both parties now surely considering if they’re better off without each other.

All due respect to CR7, who is among the greatest players ever to play the game, you do now wonder how much he has left in the tank. There are clearly signs of decline.

As a result, leaving Europe’s top five leagues in search of an enormous payday might be something on Ronaldo’s mind.

According to Todo Fichajes, it’s already near enough decided, with Ronaldo heading to the MLS this summer to play for a club that is not mentioned in the report.

We’ll take that with a pinch of salt for now, but it would make a lot of sense.

Ronaldo is notoriously brand aware and would be absolutely WORSHIPPED in the MLS, a league in which he would surely fill his boots in terms of goals.

It would be difficult for Man United to end the renewed relationship prematurely, no doubt, but it could be necessary.
