At 40, Ronaldo is still going strong and he wishes to play one more World Cup before he retires.
His current contract with Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr is set to expire at the end of this month, but Ronaldo has assured that he will continue to play for the club.
The United States are hosting the Club World Cup and they will also host the World Cup next year.
President Trump has issued an executive order to reaffirm his support for the major events.
The United States has seen unrest under Trump’s administration, including the recent immigration raids in Los Angeles.
Moreover, Trump has been heavily criticised for his role in handling the conflict between Iran and Israel.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo has sent a gift to Trump that reads – “To President Donald J. Trump, playing for peace.”
The shirt was handed to him by Alberto Costa, president of the European Council, in Alberta, Canada.
Trump commented: “Oh, I like that. Playing for peace. That’s great.”
