Conor McGregor has shared some training snaps with boxing gloves on, fuelling speculation that his next fight might not be in the octagon.
McGregor is on the comeback trail after suffering a leg break against Dustin Poirier last time he fought in the UFC.
The Irishman is expected to return to the cage in a bid to repair his reputation, which has taken a significant dent following a string of unfavourable results.
However, there does appear to be a possibility that McGregor’s next fight will in fact be in a boxing ring, but the evidence to suggest as such is weak.

McGregor has taken to Instagram to share photos of him training with boxing gloves on. What would be the benefit, were he planning on returning to the UFC?

We can almost say for certain that McGregor will one day return to the boxing ring in pursuit of another payday, but for now, we’re not expecting him to call time on his UFC career.
