Celtic currently stand second in the SPL table 19 points behind bitter rivals Rangers as they both chase to win the Scottish title. Celtic recently went on a trip to Dubai as a training camp and it has helped them in other years after the tough festive period according to Peter Lawwell. Here’s some of his statement and the video below
“On refection, looking back and looking with hindsight and looking at the outcome of the trip, clearly it was a mistake and for that I profoundly apologise to our supporters.
“This horrific pandemic has affected the whole of society. It’s affected people here in Scotland, it’s affected our supporters, it’s affected our football and it’s affected our club – probably our club more than any.”
Peter Lawwell reckons that it’s unfair some of the criticism that Celtic football club have received especially when the Scottish club have given a lot of money towards the global pandemic. Do you agree with the Scot?
