What a cracking match that was at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday between the two old enemies, England and Scotland. Tommy Freeman was asked after the game did he ground the ball for his try .. Have a look and see what you think below with the comments underneath ..

Tell me you didn’t ground it without telling me you didn’t ground it 😂 Ref had a howler

Two shocking grounding calls v Scotland in the last two 6Ns. Last yr V France and yesterday. Both the difference in a win or a loss.
Both clearly the wrong call on the pitch. TMO rules need changing. Frankly it’s bollocks that this stuff still goes on.

He definitely knows it wasn’t grounded, as does everyone else.

Never grounded
That’s why ITV never replayed it ONCE during the whole program
Why would an English broadcaster never reply their teams only try
They don’t want you knowing it was not a try

Poor officiating, but let’s be honest. It happens every weekend at every level with and without a TMO. It’s a game of chance! 6 points left on the table for Scotland. Itoje mountaineering over a ruck. Mid game lull from Scotland. Impact off bench. So many things that contribute

  1. On the whole the referee had a good game but some unfortunate errors – possibly through lack of experience – probably affected the scorelines or even the result
