Argentina fans made the journey to Lionel Messi’s grandmother’s house to show their appreciation for her grandson.
Argentina booked their spot in the final of the World Cup after a comfortable 3-0 win against Croatia on Tuesday. This is the second time in the past decade that they have appeared in the final and they will be hoping to win it for the first time since 1986.
As expected Messi carried his team through the semi-final with a dazzling display of dribbling and finesse. Of course, the celebrations in the South American country were insane with people flooding the streets.
Unable to show Messi their appreciation in person, a group of fans decided to opt for the next best thing, his grandmother.
